SIGN UP FOR CLEAN ENERGY

How it Works
Sign up my mail or online, following the directions on this page.
When you sign up, you will be asked to choose between
a 100% and a 50% option, allowing you to choose a clean energy
offering in an amount that represents either all or half your usage
each month. The 50% option costs half as much; when you choose this
option, 50% of your energy will continue to come from the system's
existing ("dirty") energy mix.
After you sign up, your clean energy
option will be billed to you through CL&P. You do not
need to pay the supplier directly, or make any changes to your account. There will be a line item
showing a clean energy surcharge. For an average home with 700 kwh/mo
usage, this charge will range between $3.00 and $6.00 per month. If
you want to end your participation, you may do so at any time, there
is no termination fee.
When you sign up through Little
People Big Changes $5 will go toward the Cider Mill School science lab.
